The show A Serious Artist Residence is a live streamed, black and white video,
screened on a 2004 little grey 30cm x 30cm tv located in front of a space where
the show the Serious Artist Residence is actually taking place and is being recorded.
Performers and technicians participating are naked from the start of the piece.
The audience is able to enter the show on the condition it is undressed as well.
Dressed audience must watch the show on screen, outside of the space.

The trailer includes the following tv-shows:
120", performed by Victor Van Wassenhove, written by Maïly Beyrens
A Serious Artist Interview by Charlotte Symoens and Maïly Beyrens
Bach, executed by  Gustave Demoen on the clarinet
A Real Concert, by Charlotte Symoens, Victor Van Wassenhove,
Gustave Demoen and Maïly Beyrens

The Serious Artist Residence took place in 002 (Ghent),
an exhibition space with huge windows — reaching from ceiling
to ground, leaving no space for intimacy — but had thick,
grey curtains too, that could obscure the space.
After being a resident in this exhibition space,
a show had to be done.
